YOUR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

Your portrait experience begins with a fun planning session at the studio. Meg and Tim want to know all about you and your family – who is the clown, who is the serious one, which kid likes to play sports and which one is shy? The more they know about you and your family, the more real and personal your images will be.

Megan and Tim have been posing and making families look great for 7 years! They also have been active in PPA (Professional Photographers of America), and currently are working on a posing workshop and video series to teach other professional photographers about posing methods and lighting methods (as the two work in harmony to create a great image). For family portraits, Meg and Tim shoot as a team, and use a technique called “flow posing”. This is where they will select a location with beautiful light (or will bring lights to make it beautiful), and quickly create a series of poses without major location changes, but just simple changes in expression, body positions, camera angles, and lighting angles.

Within a few short days of your session (often the same day), you will come to the studio and review your final images in life size on their 9 foot screen. This is the time you pick your favorite images from the session, and finalize your decisions for wall art, albums, and gift prints for the family. Meg and Tim keep this simple and easy by showing your scaled versions of your images on pictures of your actual walls at home – it completely takes the stress out of the process, as you need not worry about ordering anything to big or small.

Following your view and order session, Tim will send you a link to your online gallery, complete with pre-made links for perfectly sized social media sharing images. Within 2-6 weeks your order will be ready for delivery and installation. Tim takes pride in hand delivering and installing all wall art, as he believes the photo session isn’t over until the prints are on the walls – perfectly hung.
